Angela Williamson ~ Personal Trainer ~ Inspirational Woman ~ True Friend

I have always believed that people come in to your life for a reason.  That reason is not always apparent and in fact may not manifest itself for many years.  Eventually however, you will see how they have impacted your life and you, theirs.

I met Angela very recently and purely by chance.  I had joined my local gym, tried out a few classes and decided on 3 that I enjoyed; Body attack, Body Combat and Spinning.  I am pretty much a creature of habit and liked the presence of the regular trainers.  If I knew they were unable to take a class, I would sometimes make an excuse not to go as I didn’t enjoy the “covers.”

This particular night however I was unaware the regular Spin instructor was unavailable and Angela was due to cover his class.  Angela is very aware and knew she had never seen me in one of her classes before.  She smiled, introduced herself and I knew immediately we had met for a reason.

That was 2 months ago and in that time I have experienced things I had never dreamed of trying and certainly never believed I could do. Boot-Camp, Boxing, Burpees, Back-to-Back spinning classes to name but a few!  I was going to say that I have “pushed myself” to do these things, but in reality, I have been inspired.  Angela praises the fact that I exercise regularly, but also encourages me to try other forms of physical activity.  She is so driven by her desire to share the obvious enjoyment she receives from working out, that she positively thrives off the energy of those around her.

She has the ability to know the little achievements of every one in her class and makes a point of congratulating us on individual milestones reached.  We in turn feel proud for the recognition of our personal successes and want to accomplish more.  Her energy and knowledge appear limitless.  She encourages through demonstration, explanation and motivation.  We know what we’re doing and why we’re doing it.  She takes care to ensure our safety and welfare, knows everyone’s strengths and weaknesses and gives us specific advice.  This attention to detail enhances our experience of her class.

I personally have benefited greatly by meeting this particular Personal Trainer.  Angela Williamson has made me realise that “I can.”

Wow!!  That’s what sums Ange up as a trainer, I should take a “before” and “after” photo –  me as workaholic mum with two children and then after superbionic mum, still workaholic, but able to stack the dishes and lift 14 kilogram children with my spare hand!   All jokes aside – Ange is absolutely amazing!

It’s not just her professionalism, attention to detail or the fact that she is an absolute perfectionist.  It’s also her interpersonal skills and ability to flex her training style to suit both my abilities and my availability.  And the best part of all – we have fun, rocky style!  I walk away feeling like I have had a great time and am one step closer to achieving my goal.  To be fit, happy and healthy!”

“My sports background was tennis, playing on a fulltime basis until my early 20s and keeping fit was part of my life.

With work commitments and the responsibilities of starting a family, I lost my mojo and my health took a well padded back seat. Since training with Ange over the last 3 months, I’m feeling healthier, my energy levels are up and both are having a positive effect on my personal life. Physically, I’ve lost some of the blubber and I’m going to keep going. If I hadn’t taken the plunge training with Ange, I’m not so sure I would have turned my life around. I cannot recommend her enough.”
